Love is a Journey

Five years a couple of children, two story house

Today I feel as though God laughs.

Life is Good....Seven years later and Graduation here I am! I just dropped a class I don't need for graduation and gave myself some free time. Oh and I am getting a car and when I get it I am going on a road trip! anyone want to come with me? (The getting of the car is currently in the works-The one I want has been found and it is even in my price range....that means no car loan for me!)

One of the worst feelings in the world must come when you are 3/4 of the way through a nice warm shower and you realize you forgot your towel. Oh man! That happened to me after I had come home soaked from standing out in the snow and the rain. I don't know about you, but I don't drip dry very well! :)

I Went for a Birthday Walk and What Did I See?

I saw my foot and took a picture of it while I was walking so you wouldn't expect too much from this non-photographer!







I also saw how desperate people in Provo are for snow! This tree had more paper snowflakes on it the other day.




What little snow I did see here in Provo is being used in this snow sculpture or in a few others around town. I thought this one was pretty cool.



While on my walk, I ran into the GIANTS of Provo! This display was originally put up at Halloween and then taken down a few days later, but they put it back up a couple of days ago.



I don't know about you, but I think the GIANTS are neat! If you don't, too bad-because the GIANTS are literally the coolest thing warranting a picture here in Provo!

Happy Early Birthday to Me!

I came home from work tonight and found a package from my folks'. I knew what was inside and couldn't wait to open it-Happy early Birthday to me! I am so excited to use my new toy on the family backpacking trip this summer. :)

Isn't it the coolest thing you've ever seen? I can honestly say I have never seen a water filtration system like this one before and I can't wait to use it!

Bracelet

I made this bracelet when I was home at Christmas. The color is a little distorted, but the round beads that are shiny are actually a dark brown.

New year

If the first day of 2012 is any indication of how this year is going to go I dare say, "Bring it on!" I can not think of a day that I have both cried and laughed so much. I am grateful for my wonderful friend Jenni who everytime we talk we can talk for hours about nothing. We talked with each other for over three hours tonight and before we had spoken we both thought we were going to cry ourselves to sleep. Our conversation lifted both of us. Really it was just us talking and laughing about jokes we've had between us for years! It is funny how quickly we forget- Just a few days ago we were talking about how much better 2012 was going to be for us than 2011. Before our conversation tonight we both had our doubts. However, after we had spoken tonight we both concluded that 2012 really will be a good year. Good friends really can help us put things into perspective. We both have lost, but we both also have so much to gain and so many things to be happy and joyful about! Happy New Year!!!
