Happy Easter!
The other day while I was at the store picking up a few groceries these Easter Lilies leaped into my cart. I didn't have the heart to put them back! :) I love Easter Lilies and took the opportunity to treat myself :) :) :)

Huckleberry Hot Springs....O YA!!!
We talked Dan into letting me have Amy cover part of my shift today so that Chelsea, Carson, and I could go to Huckleberry Hot Springs tonight. He told us we would be hiking in knee deep snow and that we'd sink every step because it would be too soft. We ran into a little of that, but we still made it! Well we made it to a mud hole that was hot...they weren't the Huckleberry Hot pools that either of us had been to before. :) We had a good time though. :) :) :)
Spring Has Sprung With New Goals! :)
With Spring on the horizon I've started running again. I've enjoyed runs in the snow and the mud the last couple of days. :) My friend Rachael is wanting me to run a marathon or two with her this summer. I haven't run any high mileage weeks since college. I got burned out with it in college, but I am enjoying it again so I think I'm going to try to run a marathon with her at the end of August. :)

Windows To The Soul
In the mirror I see:
The reflection of my soul.
What secrets my eyes must hold.
Yet, they cannot hide them all.
The flecks of gold must be-
My joy and laughs a hundred fold.
What of the deepest brown?
Is it but pain and sorrow-
Disappointments evermore?
No, perhaps it's wisdom.
And it speaks:
You've come so far!
The reflection of my soul.
What secrets my eyes must hold.
Yet, they cannot hide them all.
The flecks of gold must be-
My joy and laughs a hundred fold.
What of the deepest brown?
Is it but pain and sorrow-
Disappointments evermore?
No, perhaps it's wisdom.
And it speaks:
You've come so far!

Cross Country Skiing!
The first picture is from our first cross country ski trip up Cache Creek. The other ones are from when we skied into Taggart Lake yesterday. I'd have to say that first picture resembles very much what our skiing adventures are like. :)
