Silence

Outside the trees are bare
Their leaves’ have fallen
What must they think?
With silence forced upon them

Coldness brought this silence
A silence that soon will fade
When warmness comes
To wrap them in a firm embrace

An embrace warm and true
What I wouldn’t give-
To feel warmness too
I hate this silence!

This is a very moving poem, and sad poem.

Beautifully said, Kim. Very sad, but beautiful. I like that there's some hope for future warmth & the breaking of silence. I hope you get all the warmth and embraces you deserve, Kim! *Hugs*
