New year
If the first day of 2012 is any indication of how this year is going to go I dare say, "Bring it on!" I can not think of a day that I have both cried and laughed so much. I am grateful for my wonderful friend Jenni who everytime we talk we can talk for hours about nothing. We talked with each other for over three hours tonight and before we had spoken we both thought we were going to cry ourselves to sleep. Our conversation lifted both of us. Really it was just us talking and laughing about jokes we've had between us for years! It is funny how quickly we forget- Just a few days ago we were talking about how much better 2012 was going to be for us than 2011. Before our conversation tonight we both had our doubts. However, after we had spoken tonight we both concluded that 2012 really will be a good year. Good friends really can help us put things into perspective. We both have lost, but we both also have so much to gain and so many things to be happy and joyful about! Happy New Year!!!

My dear Kim, you give me far too much credit, you know that? What would I ever do without you?? Oh, yeah... I'd cry myself to sleep a whole lot more often. I can't thank you enough for calling me and helping me. I'm glad we can lift each other's spirits with our sympathy and empathy and whatever other -pathies we have for each other. I always feel a million and ten times better after I talk to you. I'm glad to be able to count on you, Kim. You're a fantastic friend and an amazing person! Without you 2012 would seem daunting, but with your friendship I will join you in your appeal of "Bring it on!!" As long as we have a lot more 3 hour conversations, of course… And hopefully we’ll find the cure for our intense allergies. But either way, we will find the happiness we deserve, and we won’t let ANYONE stand in our way and take that happiness from us.
